It's new, it's lovely, it's
open all day until late at night, and its impressive
twenty-plus offerings of high-quality wines by the
glass make this a must-hit spot. High-ceilings,
rooms wrapped in walnut, paintings of wineyards, a
glass covered ancient Roman well, and a locale in a
palazzos from the 1500s make it a place worthy of
whiling away the hours. Kick back and order a few of
the smaller "degustazione"- sized glasses
- costing about $2 each - comparing wines side by
side and learn the fun way about wine. The cheese
and salume selection is also delightful - but can
add up! Beside those snack plates, we're not wild
about food, but we can't imagine a more lovely place
to learn.
